Eligible Victorian schools and students can attend a free camp with the Positive Start program.
Over 175,000 Victorian students have now attended or been registered for a free camp or program through the Victorian Government’s Positive Start in 2022 initiative.
Positive Start is addressing the reduced opportunities that students had during the pandemic by providing access to additional camp experiences in 2022.
School Term Camps
Glide down the Flying Fox, swing 12m high on the Giant Swing, learn how to do Archery, billy cart down the hill or abseil on a huge pine tree! Camps are a great way to build confidence and provide powerful, life-changing experiences.
Positive Start school term camps provide eligible schools a chance to get their students active, reconnect with each other and re-engage with school. This program will support students’ physical and emotional health and wellbeing.
Schools can find out more and book free Positive Start school camps by visiting the Positive Start website.
