Positive Start Initiative 2023

Eligible Victorian schools and students can attend a free camp under the Positive Start program.

The Positive Start program has now been extended until 23rd of June 2023.

Positive Start is addressing the reduced opportunities that students had during the pandemic by providing access to additional camp experiences.

School Term Camps

Glide down the Flying Fox, swing 12m high on the Giant Swing, learn how to do Archery, billy cart down the hill or abseil on a huge pine tree! Camps are a great way to build confidence and provide powerful, life-changing experiences.

Positive Start school term camps provide eligible schools a chance to get their students active, reconnect with each other and re-engage with school. This program will support students’ physical and emotional health and wellbeing.

Schools can find out more and book free Positive Start school camps by visiting the Positive Start website.

School Holiday Camps

Eligible Victorian students can attend a free holiday camp with the Positive Start initiative.

Holiday camps are a great way for students to get outdoors, meet new friends and try new things. Each day is full of active and fun things to do, such as Archery, Billy Carts, Giant Swing, High and Low Ropes, Abseiling, Hut Building and much more.

Parents can find out if their child is eligible by visiting the School Holiday Positive Start website.

Allambee Camp is a Department of Education approved provider and offers the following School Holiday Camps as part of the Positive Start Initiative:
