CASUAL CLEANER and ALLROUNDER

Allambee Camp is a small privately owned and operated residential camp providing outdoor adventure programs to mainly primary and secondary schools, but also to church, youth, family and other community groups.
Allambee Camp is currently looking for an additional team member to help with housekeeping as well as some dinner shifts, starting 1st of August 2022. Work load 1-2 days per week (except school holidays) usually Wednesdays and Fridays and 1-2 dinner shifts per week (days can differ).
Camp is a fun environment, where not only outdoor adventure activities, but also clean facilities and nutritious meals are crucial. Often a group arrives on Monday and leaves on Wednesday and the next group arrives on Wednesday and departs on Friday. Our housekeeping team members are in charge of the cleaning on these change over days, making sure that the facilities are cleaned to COVID-19 safety standards. On 1-2 days per week support of the kitchen staff during dinner times is required as well, usually these shifts finish at 7.30pm. Duties in the kitchen include serving of meals, dishwashing and keeping the kitchen clean as per Food Safety Program.
An enthusiastic, flexible and open-minded person that loves to work in a camp environment is required to fill this position. Work days are usually Wednesdays & Fridays for cleaning and 1-2 dinner shifts per week (days can be flexible), occasional weekend work. Own transport required to get to/from camp.
