Outdoor & recreation facilities at Allambee Camp include:
- Outdoor adventure activities as per Activities page
- Recreation facilities such as adventure playground with swings/slide/climbing, slack line, Ga Ga ball, beach volleyball, plenty of space and equipment for other sports and ball games
- Deck outside dining room with undercover outside eating area
- Camp fire circle
- Pool (seasonal)
- Open grassy spaces for games
- Outside toilet block

The total capacity of Allambee Camp is 135 beds.
Mountain Ash Lodge
Mountain Ash Lodge is the main lodge and most recently renovated building, hence all rooms have private ensuite bathrooms. The capacity is 59 beds in 9 rooms. All rooms are carpeted and heated.
Multipurpose room in Mountain Ash Lodge
Mountain Ash Lodge has a small multipurpose room with a kitchenette which can be used used for small self-catering groups, as a teachers’ retreat or for night activities, meetings, workshops etc. AV-equipment in this room includes a big screen with HDMI connection for your laptop. Furthermore there are tables, chairs and some bean bags.
Wattle Lodge
Wattle Lodge is nestled in between majestic trees and the pool. It has a capacity of 20 beds in 4 rooms and has recently been renovated. All rooms are carpeted and heated. There is 1 ensuited room with 2 single beds. The other 3 rooms have bunk beds and a big shared bathroom with 3 showers and 3 toilets adjacent to the rooms.
Group leaders & teachers that need to supervise young campers in this lodge can use the ensuited room.
Strzelecki Lodge
Strzelecki Lodge is located on top of Billy Cart Hill with amazing views down the rolling Gippsland hills. Strzelecki Lodge has a capacity of 59 beds in 2 sections. One section of the building has 4 rooms and 2 big shared bathrooms under the same roof. The other section has recently been renovated and has 2 rooms with a big shared bathroom and 1 ensuited room. All rooms are carpeted and heated.
Group leaders & teachers that need to supervise young campers in this lodge can use the ensuited room or other small rooms in each of these two sections.
Multipurpose room in Strzelecki Lodge
Strzelecki Lodge has a bright and comfortable multipurpose room which can be used used for recreation or night activities, meetings, workshops, church services and much more. AV-equipment in this room includes a computer (with movies), projector, big screen, broadband satellite internet, Wi-Fi and sound system. The projector has connections for digital devices such as laptops and phones (HDMI cable and adapters for USB C and Lightning). The sound system can be connected to any laptop/tablet/music player/phone etc. via HDMI cable with adapters to USB C and Lightning. Furthermore there is a whiteboard in the multipurpose room as well as bean bags, some chairs and a pool table. This space is carpeted and has an electric heater as well as a wood heater.
Dining room and kitchen
The dining room and kitchen are in a separate building in close proximity to the lodges. Adjoining the dining room is a spacious exterior undercover dining area. The dining room and the outside undercover area can be used as a meeting / workshop spaces too.
Indoor sports & recreation area
Our large indoor sports / recreation area is set up with basketball and table tennis, but it can also be used for other indoor activities and games, especially in wet weather.
